Activist Interviews
The 42 Degrees Library aims to promote the inclusion of people with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions, and sex characteristics (SOGIESC) in the humanitarian and development systems. This means breaking down the barriers between the humanitarian system and diverse SOGIESC activists and civil society organisations. Part of this transformative agenda is to highlight the work, knowledges, and experiences of diverse SOGIESC activists around the world. This page brings together all of our Activist Interviews: interviews with people engaged in advocacy and rights work, with people who are passionate about their communities, and who can offer important advice to the humanitarian system on how best to engage with diverse SOGIESC communities and civil society. We do this to demonstrate the expertise held by activists and people with diverse SOGIESC–expertise that humanitarian and development actors can (and should!) draw-upon in their work.
